My practice specializes in the treatment of children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. I provide services for diagnostic evaluations, psychotherapy, and psychopharmacology. As a practitioner, I treat a wide array of psychiatric conditions and issues including mood disorders, personality disorders, behavioral and attentional disorders, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, psychosis, and developmental disorders.
The initial appointment is the first step in the diagnostic process and lasts 50-55 minutes. The full evaluation typically takes between 2-4 sessions. During the initial evaluation process, I perform a diagnostic interview, gather historical information related to both mental and physical conditions and current well-being, review prior records of treatment, and recommend any additional assessments required. I believe that collaborating with therapists, school personnel, and other medical practitioners is a critical component to devising the most comprehensive diagnosis and effective treatment plan.

My practice is focused on providing individualized and comprehensive care, which can only be achieved by being as accessible and available as possible. I often have a waiting list for new consultations. If you have a more urgent need than I can accommodate, I can offer referrals to other colleagues with whom I have an established relationship in the community.

Please be aware I work Monday through Friday. As many of my patients are school-aged, they often prefer the afternoon and evening hours. These tend to be my busiest times, so they are reserved for established patients. I do not schedule initial evaluations during after-school hours.

My practice does not accept insurance plan payments. I am also not a Medicare, Medicaid, or other government healthcare agency provider. My services are not eligible for reimbursement by Medicare or Medicaid. Upon request, I will issue you an invoice (often called a Superbill) to submit to your commercial insurance for reimbursement according to your policy’s out-of-network coverage requirements.

Please contact your insurance provider to inquire about coverage inclusions and exclusions for out-of-network providers and services. Payment is required at the time of services and can be made via credit card, cash, or check. Please see the insurance data PDF for additional information on submitting your insurance claims.

Since I do not accept insurance payments directly, I ask for payment at the time that my services are rendered. Patients are welcome to file with your commercial insurance provider for reimbursement. If you need help submitting your insurance claim for reimbursement, I will gladly provide you with what you will need and provide general guidance about the process. If you have any questions or concerns about my fee schedule or insurance reimbursement, please feel free to contact me directly.
